SICKMAN VC

VC definition– as an MC, means “Victory in Ciphers” or victory in freestyle rhyme sessions. A long time music stage name and music producer moniker. A nickname reflective of Vietnamese ethnicity which also symbolizes a resistance group fighting against the oppressors using guerilla tactics and operating through an underground network of tunnels.

SICKMAN definition– “You’re the sick man of Asia.” a quote from the 1972 film starring Bruce Lee, titled The Chinese Connection (in America) or Fist of Fury (in China).  A reference used by some to describe the literal, dark nature of  artwork like “that is sick”. Slang used to describe the power and impact of music or a musical performance like, “that is sick man.”
